Instagram had me at Keyword Search

I have been super excited about Instagram’s new feature.

You know me, anything to do with keywords gets me excited. Only because I know, the power of using the right keywords has on any business that implements it.

Instagram has been well behind when it comes to using keywords. Yes it has hashtags but some times what you are looking for just does’nt fit a hashtag.  Even though Instagram has been behind when it came to having a keyword search feature, this has not stopped the platform from increasing its actively users.

Instagram Stats  – wow

As of January 2020, there are nearly 1 billion monthly active users on Instagram. 1 Billion is a big number, and it positions Instagram behind Facebook (2.6 billion) (from adespresso – instagram statistics)

As you can see not having a keyword search feature has not hurt the platform. It just has given many business owners wanting to use the platform a hashtag headache.

So having this new keyword search feature I think will only help the platform grow even more. The business owners & marketers who know about keywords & SEO will be jumping on the platform to leverage this new feature for their businesses.

You see if you know about keywords, and seo you also know that you don’t have to learn anything new. You simply use Instagram & it’s keyword feature like any other platform.

In this video, I share with you where to find this new keyword search feature. How to use it and why it’s a gamechanger for business owners marketing their business on this platform. I have been using the word game-change & Instagram in the same sentence a lot. keywords excite me call me weird I’m cool with it 🙂

Over to you: what are your thoughts on this new keyword search feature?
