Before I share these 2 ways, I want to share how repurposing your content can help you so much. Creating content can be tough, so being able to repurpose your content will help you to share more without creating new content.
Repurpose to a popular video website
(No 1 from the workbook)
The first one we are going to start with a live stream video. Which you probably did via Instagram, Facebook, or Happs. The first one is very common. A lot of people know about it but don’t really use their live stream video this way. And if they do they don’t treat it like a video they created for YouTube in the first place.
YouTube gets over 30 million visitors per day. That’s simply mind-blowing. That’s a lot of people who you could be bettering better at their business based on what content you’re sharing. Those who view your work may not have seen your content via other channels.
YouTube allows us to leverage their platform for reusing our old content. 2 great thing Youtube has is 1: No matter how long your content | video is on Youtube. If someone finds your channel they can see your video. Unless you delta that is. “: Youtube is a big ol search engine. So if you use the right keywords, your content can get found by people looking for it.
Also, remember to re-add your call to action on the description and add your keywords in the right places to help your video get found.
Repurpose to an audio platform
(No 3 from the workbook)
The 2nd way I am sharing with you is to use the audio from the (live stream) video and create a podcast for your followers. This is simple to do, you already got the video. All you need to do is to take out the audio from the video and then you have an audio file to use for your podcast.
Podcasts are becoming very popular & yet it’s still an untapped area, considering how many people use the internet each day. People on the move want to have the flexibility of listening to their content. A podcast caters to this audience beautifully.
Again by repurposing your content for audio, you reach a new audience. The commonplace to upload your new audio file is iTunes. Which is the most common online. But there are still others that offer podcast audio storage. A few places to get started with your audio is BlogTalkRadio. BlogTalkRadio is like a radio station it uses ads to pay for the platform so it can offer it for free. But it does have paid options. The next place I want to share is Anchor which is an app and you can use on the desktop. It’s super simple to use. ANd it late to the games consider there are a lot of different podcast platforms. But Anchor has become popular as now you can even monetize your podcast.
As all these places offer free usage you can test the waters. To see if podcasting is s longer-term thing for you. I will also say just because people share a podcast weekly does not mean you have to.
What works for one person may not work for you. Just share how you work or when you will share to your listens so they know.
So there you have 2 ways to repurpose your old content from a live stream video | video.
