Google hides search results in keyword planner. Google the biggest search engine has stepped in front of all small businesses. By stopping us from seeing those valuable keywords monthly search data. We now have to pay via Adwords.
How Google hides search results
Yes, the great free tool called “Google keyword planner” will NOT provide us with the exact keyword monthly searches. Instead, Google shows us ranges.
Before you would have seen this:
carved blue wooden chair 57 monthly searches
Now you will see this:
carved blue wooden chair 10 – 100 monthly searches
This information will not help us evaluate keywords at all. Google knows the power & value of this data. As so many businesses like you and me had free access to it, well, basically we were eating into Google’s revenue. When they could be getting paid via their Adwords system.
So if you weren’t really into SEO for your business before. This alone should make you sit up and listen.
Google is also a business
Google’s the top search engine right about now. And if Google hides search results, that means they don’t want you to get a piece of the free organic targeted traffic available for your business.
Google knows how powerful & valuable SEO & Keywords are, it’s that simple.
At the end of the day, Google is a business just like you and me, it’s adjusting its systems to make more money.
I’ve always said, listen and watch what the big businesses are doing. It helps us gain insights & advantages.
