Adding elements to keep your content engaging and entertaining for your views is increasing. More of us want videos to watch instead of reading text. I know that many still enjoy the written word and prefer reading the information. However, being able to provide both is a win-win for you and your visitor to your content.
So from the video, I shared 3 ways to add a video to a WordPress Page with WPbakery Page Builder. They are really easy to implement and by updating this post I found a 4th way. I think this 4th way was only available since the recent update of WordPress. I could be wrong so don’t quote me, I may just have missed it. Either way, it’s another great way to add a video to your WordPress post as I have for this post.
The 4th Method
Add your cursor to your blog post page and click the add media button. You will be taken to the place where you would usually choose an uploaded image or upload a new image. Well in this case look to the left menu and you will see “Insert from a URL” click that and a new window will appear for you to add your video link. Now go to Youtube and get the URL of your video and paste it into the box. Then at the bottom right corner, click the button “insert into post”. It will then appear in your post.
Again like I shared in the video if your video fills your post you are good to go, however, if your video is smaller it will by default align to the left. Unless you have CSS coded so this doesn’t happen. To get it to sit in the middle use center as I shared in the video for the 1st way and it will align in the middle.
Out of all the methods, the 4th way is the quickest for me to do. Which is always a good thing.
