Your products are more than what it actually is.

You need to speak to your audience in a way that helps them resonate and relate to what you are sharing. You do this by using benefits instead of features. Help them relate through touching their emotional strings via storytelling.

Features merely state the obvious. Yes, this information is still important & needs to be used. But you can’t solely rely on features to connect to your audience. Unless your customer, already knows exactly what you want and the features are what they need to ultimately help them decide which one to buy.  As you may not know where in the buying decisions they are,  sharing just product features is not enough.

Benefits tell the customer what they will get, how it will solve their problems etc.. Now take those benefits and place it within a story & share it with your audience.

Below I shared some examples to help you get your juices flowing when it comes to looking at the benefits for your products & wrapping it into a story.

You sell journals

You sell cushions with seaside designs
💡The benefit: Add a feel of freshness with our themed sun, sand & ice cream cushions, to your decor. An enjoy the seaside without the journey.

You sell natural soaps
💡The benefit: Our collection of organic hand-poured soaps will transcend your senses to the far east, with the natural aroma of Egyptian nights while indulging in self-care for your body.

Speak the benefits of your products, along with a little storytelling, and if they resonate your one step closer to them investing in the experience your product offers.
