Tell us a little bit about awesome you:
I am an abstract artist – I create happy and upbeat artwork.
Where do you get your inspiration from?
While I create I listen to disco music of the late 70’s. I was influenced by Keith Haring, Romero Brito and Peter Max.
How did you get into starting your business?
Growing up I was employed in a retail corporate world. My wages were high and my benefits ( healthcare, retirement perks) were supplied. Then realizing moving down to Florida the State of the Nation retail workers aren’t paid for their worth. Employers pay the least and offer the minimal to their employees. One can see it, in today’s economy, the middle class is fading as the income gap widens.
What do you when you want to relax?
Spend down time with my partner and our 4 dogs and 2 cats.
What are you reading now?
The daily Orlando Sentinel ( our daily paper)
Share one goal you completed recently
Mailed out marketing material ( a postcard ) to every USA State ( 50 States) of a gallery, showcasing my designs.
What do you wish you knew before you started your business?
Promotion of your artwork IS constant
What would you say to someone thinking of starting their own business?
Especially to artists, create a narrative about your creations what you want to accomplish with your artwork – What is your goal of your designs, your influence and your message.
