Blogging Ideas for Beginners

Your blog is like having a second voice backing up your business. However, having a blog is not just for shouting out ‘buy my products; it’s also about showing a more personal side.

8 Blogging Ideas for BeginnersBlogs can entice those that stop by and read, you can get those readers involved in many ways so that they start to come back again and again. When that transition happens those strangers become readers, and then they may become more comfortable when it comes to buying from you. However, to do this it all comes down to your blogs appearance and the content you share. This can be tricky, for even though you have a small business you can still struggle to know what to write about.

Use a Variety of Ways to Enhance

There are various ways to use your blog to enhance your business, it all depends on what you create. You could put any or a combination of the following in your blog posts;

1- Focus on each product you sell, giving the reader the crafting journey of the product.
Show the benefits of using your product, any colour options and anything else that can educate your potential customer about your product.

2- Share information about the industry you are in, while adding your personal opinion. Become an expert in your niche. Don’t be intimidated by other so-called experts in your field. You focus on your blog readers, not what your competitors are saying.

3- Share related product information, that would compliment your products e.g.; accessories. Don’t feel that by offering information about other products that you will lose your readers. Actually they will trust you more. Plus if you could get an affiliate code for those other products you could make a little money too.

4- If you attend trade fairs, craft fair etc..share your insights on the day and on the products you have seen.

5- Give away some free samples and ask for their opinion. Then use the feedback’s on your blog or on your product pages.If the feedback is negative, not ideal for your blog but you can turn it around and discuss your effects to change, adapt to make the customer happier.

6- Keep your readers updated on any special days example mothers day, father day and share products that would be ideal as gifts for those occasions.

7- Share a tutorial on how to create something that could be related to your products or a personal project you have done..

8- This goes without saying show your new products as you update your store.

The above list should help you on your way to filling in your blog posts. Don’t forget to use some great images to make your blog posts pop, we all love an image to look at.
